Alpha Phi
Letter from the President

Hi everyone! My name is Hannah Elliott, and I have the absolute privilege of serving as the 2026 Chapter President of the Upsilon Chapter of Alpha Phi at Washburn University. When I first joined as a freshman, I could never have imagined that I would one day be the president of the chapter, but I am so incredibly grateful for the growth and opportunities that both Alpha Phi and this presidency have brought into my life.
The first few weeks at Washburn were a challenge for me. I didn't know anyone and was looking for my place. I decided to go through formal recruitment and it was easily the best decision I’ve ever made. Within just a few months, I had already built friendships that I knew would last a lifetime.
I have so much to be thankful for because of this sorority. This chapter has given me valuable leadership experience, my most supportive best friends, and a forever family. Each member has taught me so much about myself and the woman I hope to become. They've shown me how to work hard and, most importantly, how to always believe in myself.
Over these past three years, I have truly found my home. I couldn’t have asked for a better college experience. Alpha Phi has made a lasting impact on my life, and I will always cherish the memories this chapter has given to me and so many others.
Chapter President,
Hannah Elliott
