Washburn University Panhellenic Formal Recruitment is a structured three-day experience held each September, typically the first weekend following Labor Day. Recruitment begins Friday evening and concludes Sunday evening. Throughout the weekend, potential new members have the opportunity to meet and engage with women from each of the three sororities, gaining insight into their sisterhood, values, traditions, and campus involvement. By the conclusion of the process, each young woman is empowered to find the chapter where she feels most at home.
